Visit the Historical Hacienda San Isidro de Iltaquí, it is a complete sensorial experience. Located in Cotacachi, Imbabura province, close to the Cotacachi Cayapas Ecological Reserve, on the slopes of the active Mama Cotacachi volcano, it envelops the site in a magical aura of complacency, ideal for rest, solace and recollection, so difficult to find in our hectic daily world.
Founded in an area of pre-incaic roads and tolas, the Hacienda was built in the sixteenth century, during the initial phase of the Colony.

``Where the spirits of the angels live``. I dedicate this image production to Rosendo Jara and his wife Chelita Jara for their kindness in sharing this very special area to I, a stranger in their lives. I felt a peacefulness among these friends and this spiritual place nestled at the foot of Cotacachi mountains.
